The Taverna Bar — Restaurant in Scotland

We were on a weekend break & came here to see Jimmy Maculey play after seeing his 'gig' advertised. He was a bit half hearted really & left his 'stage' 3 times in about 15 mins to have drinks with people at the table in front. Felt like he didn't want to be there.

To be honest the place was mobbed & full of excessively, drunk people staggering & falling about. 2 women were so drunk they had to be carried out to a taxi the barmaid had called. Lovely wee island & would return but wouldnt visit this bar again. Want I do not understand is why my drinks were 6.90p first two rounds then went up to 8poulds next time ok bar but the price jump could not be explained after I posted this Wendy the owner got on touch and expanded to me want had happened with my drinks first couple of drinks I got charged for a dash and not a can she even send cope of bills so could see all I can say thanks Wendy my apologies to you and your staff fantastic...

Customer service was very poor, instead of being greeted by members of staff, the two girls serving at the time were to concerned with covid protocols. Walked out after they questioned me about being exempt from wearing face masks...
