We decided last minute on a night away in saint Andrew's we were looking for a place to stay which was central not to fancy and not too expensive. The greyfriars looked the pick of the bunch from the websites that we visited having never been to saint Andrew's before we didn't know what to expect as we arrived at the hotel.The location could not have been any better for us. Tick in box number 1 , on street parking for a few pounds was reasonable and plenty of spaces to be had on a rainy Saturday afternoon. The main entrance to the pub is also where you check in but it does not feel cramped the aberdonian lady who checked us in was so bubbly and genuinely friendly that I had a good feeling. The room was massive more like a suite the breakfast delicious and fresh and not to be missed the bar is lively without being obtrusive and a great selection on Whiskeys and 42 Gins I was reliably informed was priced at what you would expect the size of the room and the service of the staff was really outstanding cant say enough good things about this place. If we are ever back in the area I would like to stay again.
