I am so in love with this place. 1st impressions hit hard as you walk in through the doors and greeted with a beautiful fit out, a gorgeous selection of donuts and that smell of coffee! I am visiting from Australia and have found it hard to find a nice coffee shop but at GRO I have found my go to when staying in Irvine. The coffee is amazing, the donuts - delicious & the staff are lovely and very helpful

Dropped by today on our bikes. Lovely staff who welcomed us. Secure place to store bikes while we had quite an incredible lunch. Very much rivals/beats some trendy places in the west end of Glasgow. We’ll be back!

This is the closest coffee shop from the beach. The place offers a good variety of food in their menu. Decent and warm-tasting coffee, especially if you just had a swim. Generous serving of food with a customizable sandwich. The place could be very busy, especially on a weekend.

Fantastic find in Irvine on the Harbour, very busy , so booking would be advisable. We were seated with our two Dogs outside ( there is a covered area for when weather is inclement), but we enjoyed the warm temperatures, and sat outside . Dog friendly, which is always a Plus+ Service was efficient, and friendly . Was amazed at the number of cakes and pastries on display inside - all looked handmade and absolutely delicious. The side of GRO Coffee looked very cosy and inviting , but alas very busy . There is a small Children’s play area outside where parents can chose to either play and monitor their own children , or sit , eat , and drink whilst other guests entertain their little darlings ( which seems to be the way throughout the UK hospitality industry when children are involved ). Overall and delightful place for coffee, and cake ( Along with a very inviting menu for savoury foods ) , as we chose cake and coffee ( see pictures. ).

Oh my days the food in This place is pretty tasty. My Current plan to keep on coming until I get through the full menu. The pancakes with Nutella and caramelised banana very sickening but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I also recommend sitting outside it’s much more spacious and you also get to dine with all the doggo’s. My Only issue would be the slow service like you do literally wait a good 45 mins for the food to turn up (well I’ve only been twice) but it’s been the same on both occasions however not to worry good things come to those who wait. Also the Iced Latte with toasted mallow syrup give it a try guys it won’t disappoint.
