Wow! What an amazing wee place. The food is fantastic, with a small-ish menu offering a decent selection of dishes. A lot of the dishes are veg/vegan friendly but also have the option to add some meat for the carnivores.
Flavours are incredible and portion sizes are just right. Since it is street food, everything comes in takeaway containers which you can eat there and then in the street or take it with you. They do have a few wee tables outside which are nice and catch the sun, but I'd imagine will be a bit less pleasant in the winter / pouring rain.
I got the Big Bang Noodz with some Karaage Chicken and a wee fried egg on top. The noodles are amazing, the sauce is fantastic and the chicken is just out of this world. My other half had the prawns, which I didn't taste but I did have some of the sauce which tated like the nectar of the Gods!
This place is amazing. You should expect to wait a wee bit for your meal as it is a very small kitchen and everything is cooked to order. That being said, when we were last there people were waiting about 20 min as it was quite busy - Saturday afternoon so plenty time to kill by walking around the famous Barras market across the street and back, or just stand and look at the delicious food everyone else was ordering.
Only open a few days a week and not open all the day either, most days they seem to do a lunch service, but close for a wee bit then a dinner service.
This place is quite new, but is easily one of the best food spots in the city. Definitely...
Read moreMy Response to the owners comment!.
-Instead of owning the issues, they went with passive-aggressive emojis, a guilt trip, and called the review “stupid.” Classy. If that’s your idea of customer service, it explains the cold chicken, raw veg, and soggy bread. You’re not “just doing your best” — you’re dodging responsibility and lashing out because someone pointed out what others are thinking but not saying. You’re running a food business, not a therapy session. Fix the basics. Get the food out hot. Don’t insult the people giving you the one thing that keeps your doors open — honesty.
Wish Id thrown my money into the bin now.
Food took too long. Told 25 minutes — ended up waiting around 35 and were just about to leave. It was a miserable day, made tolerable only by the dark comedy of watching people nearly get run over. The queue spills into the road. Efficiency clearly isn’t the priority — all the effort seems to have gone into neon lights and awkward branding.
£38 for three takeaway dishes: • Pork sandwich: bread turned to mush • Veg noodle dish: dry, veg practically raw • Chicken dish: cold, drowned in hot sauce
No care taken with basics — seasoning, temperature, texture — all ignored.
The owner seriously needs to rethink how orders are handled. The street setup is a mess. A simple pickup hatch or a touchscreen ordering system would free up staff and reduce confusion.
The food concept is strong. Execution isn’t. Someone else will come along and do...
Read moreWent to try this place as I’ve seen it around socials and looked pretty decent. DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! We had queued and waited around 30 min for all our food and my god, my son is still going on about it. I had the pork sando and it had just blew my expectations out the water. Never have a tasted anything like it. The kids ordered spicy rice and the k-pop fries. We had no idea what any of this was but just knew from other customers reactions that this was going to be banging and banging it was. Great atmosphere and the loveliest of staff. You can tell the wee lassie serving us was under a lot of pressure but she was still the friendliest person and made the effort to smile and have a laugh. Heading back down next weekend to try the rest...
