Rumbling Tum — Restaurant in Scotland

Had read nothing but good reviews about here and today my partner and I went in to try it. Very busy and were advised it could take up to ten minutes for a wait. It didn't take two and we got seated no bother. Every seat taken and yet the two girls serving one blonde the other dark haired were absolutely smashing it. Staff worked like Trojans and Celtic were at home so they really had their work cut out but we both decided we'd go for the all day breakfast with tea and toast. The food was faultless...bacon fried egg mushrooms lots of them cooked to perfection half tomato beans black pudding and tattie scone. Hand on heart one of THE BEST breakfasts ever. My tea was piping hot my beloved had a cappuccino which wasn't included in the price but it was a work of art and the bread was just sublime. Food freshly cooked piping hot and two empty plates later and two extremely happy customers vowing we'd be back! Decided to buy a fine piece for afters and mine was filled with lemon cream and better half's with white chocolate. Both were divine! Full praise to the staff but the cook and whoever was keeping on top of the dishes deserve a special mention. Plates cleared away very quickly everything spotless and well worth the 400 mile round journey. Only thing we both picked up on was the amount of food wasted and left by other diners. Me and my brother came here today for 2 big breakfast, we where served after other customers ,who we arrived and seated before, 2big breakfasts at £15 each and I can tell you this food was absolutely terrible everything was definitely re heated as I left 2 full black pudding 1egg 3 bacon and 1 square my brother had left square black pudding egg and scone also and they had the cheek to charge us full price £48 in total the order came to but most there terrible food was still on there plates, I stated that it wasn't good and everything seemed reheated she insisted it was all cooked fresh witch was served to us within 8mins of being ordered, very rude people I would not recommend. Ps if this was fresh I think yous have to produce better quality food for the prices yous charge, but most importantly I think yous should consider...

I stumbled upon this wonderful cafe for breakfast and what a delightful find it was! The breakfast offerings were fantastic, with a variety of options to choose from, all of which were delicious and satisfying. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere of the place. Being a local spot, it's clear that they take pride in serving their community, and it truly shows in both the quality of the food and the exceptional service.
