We were taking part in the Off The Beatson Track "Charity" walk for Cancer. We stopped at Inn Deep as we and many others had done on previous years. The pub was quiet with lots of available tables. We sat outside at one of the tables and decided to have one of the sandwiches that we had pre made. Then what I can only describe as a Narsassistic worker advised us we couldn't eat our food at the tables due to the kitchen still being open. I advised her we were on a charity walk and asked where her sense of charity was. She then, with no consideration of what any of our party was going through, or had went through decided to turn it on us and said we were a business and we being "disrespectful to the kitchen". I think any business that was on the route of one of Glasgows biggest and most recognisable charity events would at least let those taking part sit for a well deserved break after a long walk and whatever other battles they were fighting, but no we were "disrespecting the kitchen". I really hope she never needs a seat to stop and refuel after fighting the biggest battle of her life.

At the riverside deep below the surface of the main strip lies Inn Deep, an absolute ripper of a craft beer bar featuring four or five permanent taps, roughly twenty rotating guest taps, and many more canned and bottled offerings. The selection offered is fantastic, and the staff are more than happy to throw tasters at you until you've made up your mind as to which one of almost too many great brews to grab for yourself. You can then enjoy your selection in the cosy interior, or outdoors (pictured) in a stone archway, both of which are doggo friendly. The main downside is that if you do decide to sit outside, you'll have to drink from a plastic cup. Hop or Not? Rather large Hop of approval and a special place deep inn my heart for Inn Deep.

We came here on a Friday night, it was packed! We sat down at a tiny little table and were happy enough with that. However Heather (I think that was her name, she had blonde hair) went above and beyond to get us seated at a bigger table and was continually checking to see if one had freed up. We really appreciated this, and were very impressed with the high level of customer service. Thank you Heather! Drinks and food wise everything was perfect. I got the truffle and pecorino fries and my partner got the artichoke/gorgonzola pizza and both were lovely. The beers they have on draft are nice and varied and you can try tasters and bar staff are very helpful. We will most definitely be visiting again next time we come to Glasgow!

This pains me to write. This used to be my favourite pub in the area. They had great food, a great atmosphere, and a great and varied selection of beers -- lots of Williams Bros.' range, plus a great selection of guests.

Until this past weekend, I hadn't been in for a few months, but had heard from friends that the menu had recently drastically changed for the worse, and that they'd dropped some regular guest beers they liked. I did not have food so couldn't comment on the former, but I was shocked to go to the bar and find on tap a selection of about a dozen IPAs and a handful of fruit beers/sours and lagers. That's not variety! Where are the bitters? The brown ales? The red ales? The stouts? Well, they did have Guinness, but ffs. My companion and I ended up getting a couple of darker Williams Bros. beers in bottles, in Williams Bros.' own pub.

Add to this the fact that from about a year ago, the larger inside room seems to have somehow gotten much louder and more echoey than it used to be (I'm not sure how), and the fact that -- at least according to rumour -- if you get food they are now insisting on table service rather than having you order and pay at the bar like they used to, I'm not sure if I'll go back.

Edit to respond: I was there two days ago (Sunday), and it was not busy. I think perhaps the echoey-ness of the back room might have been because it wasn't busy, so each individual voice was amplified?

In any case, whatever red ale and bitter have apparently been on in the last 10 days were definitely not there two days ago. Perhaps they'd been finished and replaced with more IPAs? The barman told me the closest thing you had was a doppelbock, and this is confirmed by your menu as currently posted on your website. I am not familiar with 'UNTAPPED' and I think it is an odd choice to have your website refer customers to a third-party site without even linking to it. I searched and found an app called 'Untappd', but the information in it is not accessible without downloading it. I am not willing to download an app to check the menu of a pub.

Thank you for the correction...

Great location next to the River Kelvin. I had 2 days earlier called to book and explain clearly that one patron was in a powerchair and one in a regular wheelchair.

Nothing was passed on.

They were not sure where to put us when we arrived, as there were steps to where we had asked (2 days prior) to be seated. They were keen for us to get out the way til they decided where to.put us. They then told me to go through the bar so that I could join where my friends had been seated. As I got round the corner, there were 2 steps. I was told to come back out again.

They decided to put us outside and further down. We sat there as we waited on a table and chairs.

When it rained we went indoors, thankfully a ramp appeared, so i was able to get up the 2 steps.

Two of the staff members (Marcus and Sasha) really tried to help us, but the Manager seemed disinterested. Not the best welcome or start.

They did give us our first round of drinks as complimentary ones when asked.

The food though was delicious, I had Mackerel from the bbq that was to die for and they did some kinda wizardry with the cucumber salad, it was a feast for the taste buds.

It was a great place and I'd visit again. Hopefully they'll be a bit better...

One of our PhD colleagues had invited me and a couple of friends to celebrate his last working day in our lab as a PhD student. He had already reserved us seats so getting in was easy. I am sure you can easily reserve the seats online when you do the booking. We got a really nice table that was right next to the river view. It was still summer so kind of felt great to sit next to cool breeze brushing against your face. It was not overly crowded and the staff managed the customers amazingly well. There were a few people outside. It's a great place to order a couple of drinks and have a nice time with friends. Since I do not drink, I had ordered black coffee followed by a cup of white coffee which was basically like a latte. I enjoyed the time spent with my friends. We stayed there for about 2-3 hours chit-chatting. I can thoroughly recommend this pub to anyone who's looking for a nice time with their friends. It's quite close to Kelvin bridge and River kelvin flows along the way so you definitely get a nice view and get to spend your time with nature as well- something that I...
