I popped in for their one of their famous bagels, I got the Tofu teriyaki bagel, Ā£6.50 and an oat cappuccino, Ā£3.50. A thiccc boy and a great veg option. Nice sweetness from the teriyaki sauce and crunch from the slaw, kewpie mayo was nice and creamy. Tons of tofu in there - a decent slab. Which was good and bad. Tofu itself doesn’t have a strong flavour so the sauces had a lot of work to do. But the bagel was great! Love a bagel when it’s got everything on top. Slightly soggy on the bottom because of the slaw but didn’t cause it to fall apart. Would like to try the Reuben next time!

Great wee coffee shop that deserves more traffic. Very very good coffee ( probably the best in the Westend) at a reasonable price. You can tell theyve invested a lot of resources into nailing it. Lovely atmosphere inside, with tables outside situated perfectly to catch any and all sun. The smell inside is incredible too.

When you've been wandering the streets looking for a coffee and remember someone recommended Black Pine. So glad we stopped off here, as this place was nice and chilled and we both had a delicious flat white too, gutted we missed the blondies, but the cookies were great too. Cheers

This is probably my first ever review for anything but I'm pretty annoyed with my experience today. Recently moved to the area so have been trying different coffee shops - went here for my first time 2 weekends ago and really enjoyed it - coffee and cake were great, staff friendly and was able to sit on my laptop to do some work. Went today with my laptop with the intention of doing some work on it only to be told after I sat down with my coffee and a cake that "laptops weren't allowed at weekends as it gets too busy" even though I was able to use my laptop on a weekend previously. It's a real shame as I liked this place hence going back a second time but I won't be back, defeats the purpose of a coffee shop when you can't use your laptop in it. Don't see the difference between that and someone reading a book for half an hour or however long. Frustrating to...

Great little place for a hot drink and a sweet treat. Not a coffee drinker so can't review on that front, but one of the better cups of tea I've had from a coffee shop recently. Really great brownie. Cool decor and vibe, not bags of seating, but it's smallness is what gives it charm. Came to read a book while my baby slept- the toilet has full changing facilities with nappies, wipes, sacks the lot! Clearly a lot of care and attention to detail from the owner, will be back...
