It’s a matter of taste…(?)
The bright side is that this place is surprisingly spacious inside! What’s rare for a bakery, and good in case of bad weather.
However, we could appreciate the pies so and so: some yes (cheddar and bacon), some no (cheese and onions, and beef and onions), but I guess this a matter of taste…
What should never be a matter of taste, is that PIES GET RUINED IN THE MICROWAVE!!! Even the better pie, will become FLOPPY! :-(

It had a 'homely' feel and atmosphere and made you feel very welcome. They make a great cup of tea and the food was good. Read moreI was there with three of my friends on a bike trip, our hotel cancelled breakfast as the chef was ill so we wandered aimlessly around Thurso looking for somewhere to have breakfast until we found this oasis of food.
