Visited on Monday, 9th June at 7pm. Lasan Westhill presented a quiet atmosphere upon entry, though it gradually became livelier by 8pm. The restaurant boasts a visually appealing setup, with 4 seating sections elegantly netted off and adorned with soft yellow string lights, creating a romantic ambiance.
The staff were generally welcoming and friendly, although the manager’s demeanor was less engaging. While he made an attempt to smile, he lacked warmth, and his decision to reprimand a female staff member in front of customers felt unprofessional. That said, the employee in question was standing and watching diners eat, which was admittedly distracting.
Food presentation left something to be desired. Instead of traditional Indian serving bowls placed on candle-heated stands, a mix-and-match assortment of dishes and bowls were used, creating a somewhat inconsistent aesthetic. However, this was overshadowed by the exceptional quality of the food. The flavors were rich and bold, with a satisfying level of heat that made each bite memorable. The only drawback was the portion size—while sufficient for the meal, it lacked the generous servings offered by other Indian restaurants, where leftovers often make for a great meal the next day.
Overall, Lasan Westhill delivers outstanding Indian cuisine in an aesthetically pleasing setting, albeit with a few service and presentation hiccups. With slight improvements in professionalism and consistency in food presentation, it could easily elevate its dining...

If I do visit the area again I will be returning to Lasan :) Staff were very friendly and the good service has definitely been a focus for...
