Saw the reviews of a lack of smile - initially thought wow thatâs very sexist, went into the store the ladies there were nice and did smile which isnât actually something Iâd judge them on or their service. Iâm there for coffee maybe some cake, theyâre professional with or without a smile.
Going to say the glaringly obvious truth that the no smile reviews are probably from sexist men who have probably said something they think is charming or endearing but is actually not comfortable for anyone to hear.
Before you get annoyed at someone for not smiling at you being âfriendlyâ think about what youâre saying first and heck itâs ok to not be in an amazing mood everyday.

When I was asking her something, she just turn her back on me and made a phone call and in the end just gave me the tea still talking on the phone, not even acknowledging my presence... This person clearly lacks of customer service skills and should never be behind a counter... it's a shame because it should be a nice wee local cafe and it's not.... although the bread and pastries are lovely I'll never set...
