Stopped in for a quick snack on the way back to Edinburgh. The bakery offers an impressive selection of pies, sandwiches cakes and other hot snacks and drinks. I chose a chicken curry and a macaroni pie. The chicken curry pie had a generous portion of diced chicken, a nice mild curry sauce, a layer of onions and a lovely crispy pastry. The macaroni pie was packed full of macaroni with a topping of roasted cheese. Again, the pastry was nice and crispy. Definitely a worthwhile stop of you dance a quick snack on the road.

Out-dated, but by no means out-matched Popped into this charming little bakery for a cheeky treat. The pastries and pies on offer here look like something your grannie might have made, but you know what? Grannie can cook. Pineapple tart, 8/10, classic little pastry, overflowing with cream, beautiful sweet pineapple jam on the bottom and the pastry was lovely and buttery. Excellent work 👌

What a nice place to get your fresh bread and pies all baked on the premises I’m told The staff seem chatty and friendly you can by the looks of things eat in or takeaway no delivery tho parking outside if your lucky and a little car park just round the corner So pop in and try the pies hot or cold

Best bakers in the area by far. The pies are really tasty with lots of traditional and interesting fillings. The cakes and tarts are delicious and the coffee's not half bad either. All for a good price too. I've been quite a few times now and the staff are always really friendly and have a laugh if there's time. It gets busy around lunchtime but find anywhere in Callander that doesn't. The honey they sell is local and really good, we buy a couple of jars every year and I wholly recommend it with yogurt and fresh strawberries. Theres a small sit in area but most people sit on the wall or benches around the square outside. Plenty of bins nearby...

Excellent bakery . New owners have done a brilliant job in revamping this bakery . Fruit flapjack is best ever . Quiches delicious , pastry in them nice and crisp and not dry , tried ciabatta ready made rolls excellent.,The sausage rolls and pies looked great . The cake side of things completely spoiled for choice but what I have tried I can’t fault . The bread also very good The new owners are working really hard and have done a brilliant job . I don’t get any of the views about overpriced I think they are getting muddled with the other bakery which I think is overpriced and geared up for tourists...

Not even worth the 1 star... Bought snowballs, these were hard and coconut all wet.these were in wee plastic bags - why ???. Disgustingly stale.. Bought fondant icing sponges - smelled awful - didn't even try to eat.. Also bough a large Apple which was kinda ok..Very expensive...NOT FRESH BAKERY ITEMS... If you sell fresh you will get customers returning for more..but think you still had loads of items still available coz people around know it's not fresh..We came in late afternoon as my husband wasn't feeling well and thought some sugar cake will help him feel better but...
