My parents have been raving about this place for ages, so I had to try it for myself. We went for the Mandarin Set Banquet, £25.95pp – 3 courses with a generous spread of starters, a choice of main and dessert.

Starters included prawn toast, satay skewers, king do ribs, veg spring rolls and seaweed – a v strong start. The prawn toast and ribs were the standouts for me.

For mains, I ordered the Kung Po duck – wasn’t quite the flavour I was expecting, felt like it was missing a little something. The Thai red curry and roast duck in plum sauce were much more of a hit, especially the rich plum sauce.

The dessert I got was the warm chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. Rich and delicious but I was almost too full to eat it all… almost.

It’s a lot of food, so definitely go hungry if you’re getting the banquet. It’s on the pricier side, but you do get...

Popped in here for dinner last night, staff were friendly and the food arrived promptly and looked great , I ordered the special curry which states is "made with beef, chicken and king prawns" perfect my fav's I thought! But when my main arrived I noticed there were infact no king prawn in my dish! I hate it when restaurant s say ur getting this or that in your dish then dint deliver, I was too hungry to make a big deal so I ate it and it tasted good, chicken was a bit touch tbh but I've had worse. Unfortunately as soon as I got back to my room I had to spend 15 mins in the bathroom, make of it what u want but I felt fine before the meal. Hence the three...

Food ok, but service was not long time to serve and asked for more drinks but were not served them so asked for bill and waiteress said to me oh I've forgotten about your drinks, gave us drinks complimentary we were also sat right next to the takeaway waiting area which was partitioned by a wall with glass panel on the top so the people who were waiting for up to 45 minutes were staring in at us having our meal, owners need to take partition wall up to ceiling so that there is privacy to eat your meal and not have 2 dozen eyes looking at your every move. Don't think I'll pay a...

First visit to this traditional, very authentic chinese establishment We hadn't booked, Mea Culpa, so were restricted to a 1 hour early evening slot which, on this occasion was fine Please peruse my pictures to see the fine presentation of the food Quality of dishes was excellent The ambiance is cosy comfortable, traditional chinese except for the mandatory european bar which amuses me but for which we are eternally grateful 😂 Portions were large and reasonably priced. So, the lesson is make sure you book in advance to enjoy this excellent restaurant.😇

WOW,,, So we booked a table for dinner, as we up on our honeymoon and we love good Chinese food.. Even tho though it was busy, we enjoyed ourselves with some fantastic hot fresh food and all the staff were friendly and helpful. There is nothing wrong here at all, just busy as it is a fantastic place, so the locals order takeaway. 😀 the last photo is my favourite,,, banana fritters with ice cream ( be nice lol ) 😆
