McDonald's — Restaurant in Scotland

After trying to order a Mcdelivery but being too far out of the delivery zone I was forced to go to this mcdonald’s, upon arrival I placed my order, payed my money and stood waiting by the tills for what would have been a well earned meal had it not been for what was about to happen. While waiting for my order a man who looked around 50 was complaining to a staff member because he was short on change for a bag of chips, admitting defeat he found a new target to take his misplaced anger out on. a group of around 5 teenagers were sat on a table also waiting patiently for there food when he realised that they were the group who had rightfully scalded him for his terrible driving. a very strongly worded argument ensued between the man and the teenagers but after a few minutes it died down. the man then made a phone call essentially asking for backup 2 minutes later someone who i assumed was his wife walked in and started another argument with the group. meanwhile i was still awaiting for my meal. then in a blink of an eye a crazy old lady around 70 came rushing through the doors of the establishment brandishing a rather long and heavy wrench, the place fell silent as this woman proceeded to smash one of the tables with said weapon and threaten many of the people inside the mcdonald’s. thankfully they were escorted off the premises by a worker who looked around 15. the man did not get his chips. when my food was ready i picked it up and went to eat it only to find a cold burger and unsalted chips. do not enter this place unless you are willing to kill or be killed, may the odds be ever in...

Do yourself a favour and don't order from McDonalds Retail Park (order from asda instead), im a self employed delivery driver for just eat and every evening is the same story:

Got a double order (the pay is £6.20 and I cover fuel, car maintenance and insurance) from this f.... place again at 5.35 PM (double order meaning two deliveries because Just Eat is a greedy company and now wants us self employed couriers do double the job for half the pay), just eat app said my double order would be ready at 5.49pm (aye right...).

6:00pm my first order is ready.

6.10pm im speaking to the first restaurant staff asking for the second order as the first one gets cold now, im getting told it will be coming shortly.

6.20pm im asking the manager where my order is as my first order is now cold. Im told it shouldn't take too long again.

6.30pm im told the second order has already been picked up (which is a lie because otherwise they wouldn't have the receipt for it, unless they mixed the bags up and attached wrong receipt to my actual order and gave it to some other courier)

Honestly the staff in this place have NO bloody idea what they are doing.. in the end I got paid £3.10 for that first order which took me 50 minutes total and still gotta pay business costs from that.

Told the customer food is freezing cold and to rate us and the restaurant as low as possible.

I swear i will be taking them all to court and will be dumping this job because its almost same store every bloody evening...

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERIES FROM MCDONALDS...

I think at some point around spring/summer 2024 the management team of this branch must have changed; it's a place I've been a semi-regular at since it opened and the standard of the food has never bothered me til recently. Breakfast Mcmuffin eggs always seemed relatively fresh before, but now I think they must cook the eggs about a day in advance and warm them thru later, because now the yolks are green--but because the yolks have been popped, there's now green mixed all thru the white of the eggs like mould through stilton, and the end result is absolutely stomach churning to look at. I don't care if it's 'perfectly edible', it looks disgusting and repellent. And also the eggs are strangely dry, which seems kinda bizarre but it's true. I recently had a Mayo Chicken and a Big Mac from this branch too, and the miserable squished things handed to me reminded me of that scene in the flick Falling Down where D-Fens goes nuts over the disparity between the photos of the juicy burgers on the menu and the sorry, saggy thing he's presented with. I'm not expecting fine dining--it's fast food after all--but the quality of the food served seems to have just plummeted at this branch in 2024. The service is okay, and the staff are fine, if a little... disengaged, and I've rarely had to wait particularly long for my food, but what use that when the standard of the actual food now either turns my stomach or reminds me of a cutting satire critiquing the state...
