My mother and I came here after a disappointing experience at the nearby Wetherspoons. Immediately, we were impressed by the difference. We were seated at a clean table right away and after a couple of minutes to look at our menus, our server came to take our order. My mother ordered a small homemade lentil soup (which was not small! haha) and I ordered a haggis and cheddar panini- a perfect recommendation from our lovely server. Our food came out after a short wait and was delicious. My mother then had a nice cup of tea with a scone and I enjoyed a coffee. Between the delicious food, attentive & friendly wait staff, fair prices, and complete opposite encounter to what we had in Wetherspoons, we could not have had a more enjoyable experience. I enjoyed a lovely prawn sandwich on fresh brown bread, and as I can't have my hot chocolate any more, (now diabetic), I settle for a very cold diet coke.
