One of our favourite parks. Great swings, can go nice and high without them wobbling- my 3 year old is impressed. Lovely sandpit area, great to have toys to play with too. Lovely community spirit feel about it.

It's always wonderful visiting Catherine Street Park. It was a lovely park as it was previously, but since it has had an upgrade to become an inclusive park, it's has become even better. There are always so many elements within the park to explore, no matter how often you visit. Lisa and her team make everyone feel welcome and frequently run workshops for children and other groups. The atmosphere is friendly, inclusive, and peaceful. It is a safe space for my children to run, play, imagine, create and socialise. It is the perfect location to meet friends and for parents to catch up and connect with one another. Overall, a wonderfully welcoming park,...

Pretty bad that they cut down so many trees. Poor parking. Not the best place for a playground. Used to be a quiet little green space. Update 2021 - given the hundreds of thousands of scarce resources that were spent on the park I can confirm that it is now well used during the day by the groups mentioned. There is no mention of the groups using it at night to the distress of neighbours and beginning to attract police attention. I hope the park owners will now properly address...

This was our first visit but not our Grandsons. This place is safe for children as all gates are self closing. Next time we will take a picnic as there are plenty of seats and tables available. The amount of amenities for children is extensive. Swings, shutes and climbing nets and frames. We...
