New City — Restaurant in Scotland

Really disappointing. I went in yesterday and ordered the special Chow Mein. It looked ok and at first it was decent but after taking a few more bites I quickly realised that some bits of meat were off and looked as if they were tossed in from someone else's discarded leftovers. I told the manager and asked for another portion to take away. I thought that would be it and I wouldn't have left a negative review but unfortunately they gave me the same thing and thought I wouldn't notice because although they took out most of the meat that was off, they forgot one or two chunks in... This is not acceptable, especially for £15 a portion! The place looks ok and the staff are courteous, so was really not expecting this. Not going there again. I was told this is best Chinese in Ayr, I dread to think what a bad one is like, the food was terrible and really expensive, not even in London I never paid such high prices, ahalf decent Chinese restaurant in London is cheaper and better than this place, the food was so bland no garlic, no ginger and for 2 people I paid £60 (me and the wife). Service was just like the food.. bland!! I wish I had gone somewhere, if you have eaten good or half decent Chinese food stay well clear of this and I don't how some people have given this place 5 Stars.. This is one of the worst and the most expensive Chinese restaurant I have ever...

Was in here recently..very bad meal chicken curry ! Chicken was too big a size very tough !!..sauce was very thick almost congealed on my plate tasted awful when complained she said it was because it was cooked earlier so might be dry 🤔 for 45 pds was a rip off ..not the best of places too eat will not be back .... also kept watching us while eating then lifted our plates ! Very rude need some table manners and...
