Where do we start. Pleasant greating upon entry. Service and attention to detail, faultless. We went out leaving one item and the lass came running after us with it. We went a quiet spot on the river to have what we purchased, stunned by the flavours and full tastes of the chicken and bacon pie and the chicken and haggis pie, full, great balance of flavours and taxtures. Cream ring and iced apple turnover for afters. Wow. The best pies and cakes weve had in...

Woke up very early, no butane, no electric! We were served by a lovely lady who not only greeted us with a warm, welcoming smile but when we asked for 2 coffees and mentioned we wanted something for breakfast she told us about the sausage or bacon rolls! 😍 There was a generous amount of bacon and a really tasty roll. Well recommended! Smelled amazing in the shop too. Sat and ate them facing...

We visited the Paul Jones Bakery at the Easter Weekend in April 2017. Wow! What an amazing bakery - The pies are incredible. We tried a macaroni cheese pie and a chicken tikka pie, but the outright winner was the steak and haggis pie... deeelishus! We had a couple of these! :) I would heartily encourage anyone passing by Kirkcudbright to call in to this bakery and try out their amazing fayre.

Popped in to get a pie because of the reviews on here. Didn't regret it. Went with steak and haggis. Absolutely spot on. One of the best pies I've had.
