Pearl Palace — Restaurant in Scotland

I sincerely urge everyone in Dumfries to give this Take Away a massive swerve...It should be closed down!!!! Our food arrived cold and the salt and pepper ribs were unrecognisable.. in short the food was stodgy revolting muck.. When we phoned to ask for the food to be returned we were met with the most unbelievable defiance and made to feel like we were trying to con them...I have NEVER in my life EVER seen food like it...in retrospect we probably got of lightly as we would more than likely had food poisoning if we had eaten the vilemuck...They effectively stole our money and o for one am not letting it lye there...PearlPalace...Watch...

Ordered some food for collection, very disappointed!

Chicken noodle soup, tasted ok but only 3 thin pieces of chicken and a spoon full of noodles. Singapore fried rice. Well I was given Singapore vermicelli, didn't taste nice at all, meat quality very poor, threw it away after one spoon full. And I've never thrown Chinese food away before! Sweet and spicy crispy shredded beef... Not spicy, not crispy and I'm kinda tempted to say not beef! Texture was not right for beef and the crispy bit was a soggy bit. Chips and curry sauce... Standard Chinese chips and curry sauce. No issue there.

I am sure that the normal meals is above average due to te other reviews and it was lovely that it was open on Christmas day, alcohol was above average however now I am now out of compliments. Turkey was below average, 1st boiled then roasted, double cooked isn't really my gravy ..which was far too thick. Got knocked on the head over 5 times only 2 apologies. Customer service was below average hence I cannot add more than 1 star for this meal. Dessert was not correctly put together and the starter`s sauce was too potent. I am not impressed, but happy that they...
