Pepe's — Restaurant in Scotland

Came here last week with my partner; I got my usual order from Pepe’s, the Chick’n’Rice box extreme heat with extra chicken, my partner got a extra hot chicken burrito with some extreme chicken strips and we got peri mayo on the side. Partners first time coming to Pepe’s to see if he could handle the heat. Service was amazing, the girl on the till was very helpful and took our order quickly and efficiently. There was one other table eating when we first got there but they left soon after and kept seeing people coming in to pick up food to go so seemed busy. Food was amazing, I love the heat level and the food is of high quality. Partner loved his meal too, and the peri mayo was amazing. Wish I bought a bottle of the extreme sauce to take home but there’s always next time! Will definitely be back here soon. Thank you for the amazing food...

Just had a meal at Pepe’s in Ayr and it hit the spot! I went for the chicken and rice box with a side of peri-salted fries and a drink. The chicken was juicy, tender, and well-marinated with a nice bit of spice that didn’t overpower the flavour. The rice was hot, fluffy, and soaked up the sauce perfectly.

The peri-salted fries were crispy with just the right amount of seasoning – addictive stuff. The portion sizes were generous, and everything was served hot and fresh.

Service was friendly, the place was clean, and my order came out quickly even though they were busy. Overall, really tasty food at a fair price – I’ll definitely be back next...

Food is lovely but the customer service and time it takes to get orders is bizzare. Do not order if you are starving or pressed for time.

It’s not the first time I have had issues with ordering times, and sadly last night phoned in and asked for food to be ready at a specific time for pick up only to get there and be told not ready. They kept adding time to when the order would be ready, no apology but excuses and honestly felt like they can’t be bothered with customer’s concerns or delivering more than just great food. An apology came after I prompted for it.
