We initially missed the entry to this Restaurant as its actually located within the Hotel, so you just need to press the button and the Owner will let you in. Delicious Thai food is to be had, promise . We never would have expected to find such good quality Thai spices in Shetland, coupled with a generous serving of the local seafood, made a very memorable dinner for us. It's not really that easy to find an open restaurant in Lerwick even in summer, but it was a good thing we ended up at the Phu Siam on the first evening, because the food is really delicious. A big menu with all sorts of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes to choose from, a big choice of wine to go with it, and the service is enormously friendly. We went there again the next...

Rather quiet when we visited, so no real atmosphere. Attached to a guest house so a slightly strange need to ring the doorbell to get in.

The food was plentiful, reasonably tasty but not as highly seasoned as I am used to from other Thai restaurants.

Beer was bottles only.

Not expensive, but not cheap either, so overall worth a try but not outstanding as a dine...
