Rockvilla Pizza - North — Restaurant in Scotland

I recently dined at RockVilla Pizza, and while the food was genuinely delicious, my overall experience was unfortunately marred by the attitude of a young female staff member at the till.

Upon entering, I was excited to explore the menu, which offered a variety of enticing options. However, when I approached the counter to ask a few questions about the dishes, the young worker seemed disinterested and almost dismissive. Her lack of enthusiasm and unwillingness to help made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer.

While the food we eventually ordered did not disappoint—it was flavorful and well-prepared—the negative interaction overshadowed our meal. Dining out is about the whole experience, and it’s disappointing when a single person's attitude can cast a shadow over what could have been a delightful evening.

I hope the management addresses this issue, as the restaurant has great potential with its tasty offerings. I would consider returning, but only if I can be assured of a more welcoming...

A nice little pizza shop, however it could be better.

The self ordering concept and layout is amazing! Makes for quick and easy purchases - and at a good price might I add. (2 pizzas + 2 soft drinks = £15.50)

The menu and toppings have lots to offer, and are easily laid out when ordering too.

However, the pizza itself is one of the downfall areas, extremely crispy (felt like I was eating flavoured/topped burnt toast) and the amount of topping on mine compared to other photos on online reviews was minimal; that in mind, add mascarpone to anything you order!

The trendy, bright and modern interior is let down by the seating and the temperature inside. Sat cold on hard base stools with no backing isn’t the ideal way to try enjoy your dinner, nor is the crumbs around your feet from previous dinners.

Staff were nice and friendly... but I only spoke to them as the tins on my table had no cutlery.

Unsure if the pros outweigh the cons on this one, will have to give it another...

Best pizza EVER! A fantastic dining experience awaits you at Rockvilla Pizza. From start to finish, our meal was nothing short of excellent. We kicked off our feast with the Nduja Dough Balls, which were a fantastic way to begin, offering a perfect, spicy kick. For the main event, we shared the Goats Cheese Pizza and the Mighty Meaty Pizza. The goats cheese was a beautiful blend of creamy and tangy, while the Mighty Meaty was a hearty and flavorful triumph. Both pizzas were cooked to perfection, with delicious, well-crafted bases. The Truffle Fries were an absolute highlight, elevated by their earthy aroma and crispy texture. Beyond the food, the service was truly outstanding. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere. We had take away. Where dining at home we were left feeling completely satisfied, having enjoyed not only a superb meal but also exceptional service. Rockvilla Pizza is a must-visit for any pizza lover. To sit in...
