What a hidden treasure! Came here looking for an indian lunch and lacking in options but we stumbeled on to this small and sadly easy to overlook restaurant. Sadly because this restaurant should be packed but it was empty. Better for us, because we got the chance to talk to the lovely owner and got to experience lovely fresh food. Crisp paratha, piping hot, aromatic, flavourful and make-your-nose-run-spicy curry, and a really tasty desi burger! Add on to that fluffy and warm spiced Pilau rice with chicken and you have 2 very happy people with very filled bellies. Come here. The hostess is amazing and her cooking even more so.

A clear and definite five star review for Casci’s. Brilliant customer service (warm, friendly, attentive, flexible with orders) matched with great tasting food makes Casci’s a place to look forward to visiting. We had soup, burgers, chips and a few deserts and everything was simply delicious and great value for money. Super coffee tops it off nicely. We went with our two year old in the buggy and it was no problem at all, indeed she enjoyed herself immensely, ate everything and even got a wee lollipop on the way out. A lovey warm atmosphere and great tasting food made for a great morning out. Highly recommended.

My mom and I had just finished up walking around the Callendar House and were famished. We had decided it was eat or call it a day (and we didn’t want to call it a day). We found this hidden treasure just down the road between the Callendar House and our next bus stop. The owner served us, made our food fresh & right in front of us and made us feel welcome. She mentioned it’s a new endeavor and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. The portion size was generous for the price and the food was delicious. I wish this was a restaurant that I could become a regular at!

Used to love this place as been few times! Went today with some friends & kids and the absolute rudeness towards us all was just unacceptable and I’m called for. The prices of the food-delivered out from that shop is disgusting!! He didn’t like kids & made that very clear!! Especially when said he doesn’t do kids order but would make a small portion for them , which we believe were still charged full price!! We were over charged more than what the menu says , Ā£9 for frozen fish , chips & peas which my friend couldn’t even touch because was that disgusting!! My kids scrabbled egg was bright yellow like butter , she didn’t like or enjoy it at all. Near Ā£60 for a lot of wasted food!! Would not recommend this place at all and definitely isn’t suited for kids!! Was made to feel so out of place with even a rude comment made about ā€œā€ if we could even afford to eat there ā€œā€ Wasn’t happy at all with this service and and the whole 6 of us left still...

The starts are for friendliness, ordered two full breakfast and one small. Small cost 4 pound you get one egg, beans one link sausage which was the cheapest you could buy and one rasher of bacon so four items, no tea or toast. The large cost 7 pound which included as above but an extra sausage which are inedible and look like they came previously frozen very dry and powdery inside, a very thin black pudding and a potato scone no tea or toast again 😳 When we asked for no beans on one plate we were offered to substitute but when asked to swap for an egg we were told we couldn't as it's too expensive and eggs cost more than beans šŸ˜‚ so he offered toast and one slice came. Now I'm 100% sure with the quality of the food that the eggs were not organic or even free range. Never have I still felt hungry after ordering a full breakfast before. Sorry for the harsh review but as a customer I felt I was getting...
