I ordered two subway meals - foot long £7.99 each - meal deal, I asked for a subway without bread for my dog ( I have used Glasgow, Aberdeen no problem ) however, this branch was hostile and tried to make it extremely difficult for me. Clearly they had an issue that I was buying my dog a treat.
The total amount came to £28.00 and they charged for my dog £12 This included two slices of chicken, Turkey and ham - cheese, egg, beef ( no bread ) no salad. I was under the assumption they were replacing the salad and bread with these add on’s They were extremely unhelpful and refused to accept it as a meal, they misled me when making the subway.
The female service operator - kept getting the order wrong, it took almost three attempts to explain I didn’t want a toasted Subway and preferred the sandwich ( only heat up the vegetarian patty )
Then at the till - asking the assistant for a paper bag she was hostile and told me to wait in a very short and rude response. So abruptly and tried to silence the conversation.
The service was below a level of quality and the people working in there on this shift ( Friday night October 24th ) need extra training to assist a person who has a disability and be prepared to answer questions without demonstrating an attitude that ‘ is an inconvenience for them ‘
I was disgusted with this Subway - I feel they have no consideration towards people who has disability and don’t understand different requirements. Lack of communication and understanding when I placed my order.
Based upon this experience - I would not recommend anyone to use this service if you’re looking for a relaxing place to visit after a long day. On the Contrary, it was unhelpful and very poor service. They misled me by not informing me about the individual prices of the meat and failed to provide any information as I was asking them.
They told me they did not have a manager on the floor, which I suspect is why they thought they were able to provide such an incompetent customer experience.
Therefore, I would not use this Subway again, and I am still thinking to report this branch. I have travelled a lot and used all different branches, this is so far the worst Subway experience. They...
Read moreAwful. Visited this subway about two years ago where I had an accident by the front door as the drain cover was damaged and sticking up dangerously. I tripped, ruined a pair of expensive knee high boots and twisted my ankle. The staff were unhelpful and no concern for the customer. Details finally given on a scrap of paper for a manager to contact however they were dismissive and no positive outcome received. Reported to council for health and safety reasons.
Popped in last week as not much open and we were hungry after a long journey. Queued for a while, staff looked like they couldn't be bothered to be there. Same girl served us from 2 years ago. Still had a couldn't be bothered attitude and didn't listen to what we were asking for so had to keep repeating herself. Chap on the till looked like he was stoned, over charged us and minimal conversation from him. The girl who served us just threw our food across the counter at us. No thank you or any manners at all. Really quite rude in that as I walked out I stated 'how rude was she?' to my partner!!!
The chicken in my chicken and bacon BBQ melt tasted like fish..it was disgusting!!!

Read moreUpdate: Staff not very nice and still have no idea what they are doing, never apologised for making me wait ages. Saw one customer waiting to pay for 10 minutes whilst a member of staff faffed around being unless. Supprised the customer waiting didn't just walk off, they would have never noticed. Had to wait ages for my order and the locks have fallen off bathroom doors and it looked like they haven't been cleaned all day.
Soggy sandwiches. 2 Staff being trained by the only other person on shift, who was clearly stressed. Order wrong for 3 people including myself. Disgusting that management and franchise owners would let a location get in such bad shape. Would not recommend eating here. I saw a courier delivery man waiting for 45 minutes whilst I ordered and ate. I feel bad for anyone that works at this store or has to work...
