The Artist Patisserie — Restaurant in Scotland

I was visiting Helensburgh yesterday on one of the hottest days ever...and made a point of going here before going to the train station. I only bought 2 but how can you truly describe works of art. I will try. I shared with my daughter. My first one was in a donut shape...fill with I believe hazelnut cream....it was so light yet tasty..I think it was choux pastry.....delicious...my second was so beautiful I was loathe to cut it...it looked like a strawberry...it had strawberry mouse with a layer of light sponge and a biscuit base....this was a taste of heaven...I wished I had bought more...but 1.20mins on the train I not too far to travel for these delights so I...

Absolutely delicious cakes and afternoon tea, and run by the nicest people. Nothing is too much trouble, and their recommendations always prove to be perfect. Maddie is incredible at remembering what people order, so I can ask her advice on what someone likes if I want to surprise someone with a cake. I have also had the Winter Wonderland Christmas cake, which was a real showstopper! This patisserie and the family who run it are a credit to Helensburgh, and very much deserve...

Both tiers were not only beautiful but also an absolute hit with our guests—they couldn’t stop raving about them! Every bite was a delight, and the cakes truly melted in our mouths.
