The Black Bull — Restaurant in Scotland

Popped in here today on our way home from Go Ape. We were welcomed by a friendly local who told us where to sit for food. The staff didn't take long to locate us a table for 5 and we were seated within minutes. We placed our order and food started coming out within a reasonable time. Unfortunately there is no kids menu but there is half portions available on some of the main menu. Or as the server said, just ask and they will do chicken nuggets or fish fingers, no problem. All of the food that we had was really good and we had lots of clean plates. We will defo be back when we are back...

Great staff, well priced, friendly locals, live music at weekends, live sport. The band were excellent. Only bad point was 2 people wearing backpacks dancing around, not caring that their packs were hitting other people. One guy lost his entire tray of drinks (4 pints and several nips) that went all over myself and 3 other people almost causing a fight. No warning given to the 2 wearing backpacks, doorman seemed...

Our first visit to the Black Bull - unfortunately access for those with restricted mobility wasn't easy though we managed.

We all ordered from the OAP offer starter and main meal.

Everyone ordered something different and genuinely everything was good.

Food didn't take too long. It was all good portions and was very enjoyable.

Staff were friendly though always professional.
