Found this place late yesterday afternoon and it looked fab so we made sure to stop off for refreshments after checking out of Broomfield campsite as itās literally at the end of the drive.
I had a decaf oat mylk hazelnut latte, son had a hot choc with marshmallows + whipped cream, hub had a decaf americano with milk and a haggisānālorne sausage roll with brown sauce which he inhaled in about four seconds, commenting it was the nicest takeaway roll heād had on our trip so far!
All food is freshly prepared to order. They have a selection of rolls, burgers, salads and breakfasts. They advertise a āvegetarianā breakfast but the staff are very clear when ordering that itās cooked on the same griddle as meat products so Iād respectfully suggest they advertise it as āmeat freeā because of the cross-contamination. This is in no way a criticism. The kitchen area is small and doesnāt allow for separate cooking areas.
The inside has a few tables and is quite snug so allows for a real intimate setting. There are seats outside in a covered over decking area.
They offer a few vegan options for burger and sandwiches/salads but Iād check about the prep. They had TWO vegan cake options this morning!! Iām not really a cake person but still have a nose to see that my options are for when I fancy one.
The staff are absolute sweethearts! There was a slight wait for which they apologised but thereās absolutely no need! It was a Sunday morning of the early August bank holiday weekend on a rainy summerās day and as I say itās all cooked fresh to order. Itās also lovely to see a business thriving.
The prices are incredibly reasonable! Like ānormalā cafe prices in my local area and donāt seem to be ātourist pricesā like some of the places we visited in the village.
Canāt recommend this place enough! Next time weāre in the area weāll definitely come back in!
We wish you a wonderful weekend and continued deserved success with...

We were keen to try a Full Scottish and had been recommended this place by our guest house host. We also looked at reviews of local spots and this place stood out.
We arrived at around 10 am and joined a small queue. There wasnāt any organisation to the queue and it was a bit of a free for all when a table became available, but I accept the staff were busy.
We got a table within about 15 minutes and went straight to the counter to order four Full Scottish breakfasts. We were told they were short staffed and werenāt doing Full Scottish breakfasts anymore.
Not only was this disappointing but we then saw multiple Scottish breakfasts being brought to other tables as we were contemplating what to do.
Safe to say we left out of principle without buying anything.
Very disappointing...

Wow, it is only slightly off the beaten track but so worth the effort to find.
We visited for breakfast/brunch, each person received a well cooked meal, my all day breakfast was cooked to perfection with a nice big cup of tea for less than a nearby harbour front place was charging for just breakfast.
I'm assuming it's a family run venture, every member of staff was pleasant & felt very welcomed.
The slightly quirky decor added to the relaxed atmosphere.
I rarely approach the owners but I had to let them that I had the best breakfast in a long time & that they are doing an...
