Whifflet Arms — Restaurant in Scotland

The 3 of us had a great meal out here today. The decor is recent with lovely watercolour style walls, with dark green contrast wall. Lovely wait staff. Menu just changed with flavours from around the world. We had the joren chicken bites to start in a lovely slightly spicy glaze with a lovely dressed salad. Absolutely delicious. Mains were Macaroni with garlic bread and side salad. Steak pie, mash & veg, and Peppercorn chicken, rice & veg. Everyone really enjoyed the food. Desserts next. We had chocolate fudge cake which you can ask for hot or cold and served with cream, ice cream or custard. The double noughat I had was amazing, just like from the ice cream van. Came on a plate with raspberry sauce, strawberries and blueberries it was all absolutely amazing. Good portion sizes and good prices. Haven't got a negative word to say. Walked in with my 2 friend during a charity night and was aprotched by a member of staff straight away . She asking all 3 of us for id which was understandable as we are 18 however i handed the woman 3 forms of my id and she wouldn't take any of them. My friend also showed her id and the woman says it wasn't hers. we were deeply offended and was asked to leave. so we phoned our taxi and we decided to stand in the door way as it was raining very heavy. Yet again we where aproched by bar staffn and told we weren't allowed to even stand in the door way. food great our waitress was lovely however we asked for a drink with our dinner and we never got it then a few men came in from the bar and stood and had a conversation about things we didnt need to know and there girlfriend then joined them and put her glass on our table we were eating at and then realised we were dining and they moved. we did tell our waitress when she asked how our service was and we told her she said she would tell management and about 5 minutes later the waitress who forgot our drinks came over apologised which was good of her but no management came near. very disappointed as we heard good reports before we tried it has put us...
