I gave this 1 star only because I can’t give it 0. Went in today with my wife as a little treat for our 49th wedding anniversary. Ordered a Cod special and a Haddock Special. The bread and butter ( minus the butter as it was only on 10% of the bread. ) The fish was like the size of a birds eye fish finger. The Cups of Tea were in the smallest cups I have ever seen. The Fish in both of our plates were greasy and the chips had the black eyes in. In all it was discussing. We had traveled up from Knutsford and I had indigestion all the way home and had to stop to get some Rennes. The bill came to £19.80 so not cheap. We had the special and I dread to think what the standard one would have been like. Very unhappy and sad to leave this revue but they really need to sort...

went there today, 17th Nov 2023, during my work break as a decorator. Been before and always good quality. But today was superb. Fish and chips with spicy curry sauce for a take away price of £9.60. Got to say, it was the best fish an chips and curry sauce I have had for as long as I can remember.... honestly, that good. Came in a fancy box which was great for keeping the meal together while sat in the van eating it... far better than the wrapped paper. Staff, very friendly and welcoming... as you would expect. No complaints at all.... just total satisfaction with a superb meal and price, not cheap, but guess that is the average for such a meal nowadays. Definitely going back. 100%...

Chicken breast wasnt crispy, didn't taste fresh, mum enjoyed the scampi, the coffee was terrible. The cod was thin, mainly batter and we got served the drinks and scampi and chips and our shared chips between 2 of us, But not the fish and chicken, so the chips were nearly cold by the time we got the chicken and fish we think that's why the chicken was cold in the middle and not crispy which I asked for, because it's the crispy parts I like so I left most of it and most of the chips and hubby left most of the fish well batter as there wasn't much fish in the batter, it seemed expensive for...
