Me & my friend booked a table here back in may due to having an event at the Atkinson just down the road. We arrive on time and was seated pretty much straight away.

When we were seated we were handed menus and was just sort of left to our own devises. 25 mins later we had to grab a member of staff to order drinks/food.

As we gave ourselves an hour and half (which I would say is plenty time) we wanted to order stuff from the starter menu to come with the mains but the waitress took our order and rushed straight off not giving us time to ask if they could come out with the mains.

The starters came out about 15 mins after ordering. They food was lovely that came out but it got to around 30 mins till we needed to be at our event they hadn’t took our starter plates away and we hadn’t even been offered another drink.

I went to the bar to ask where our food was as we had an event to go to. I was told to go and sit down. I didn’t want to make a fuss so I did.

The restaurant wasn’t overly busy but we heard a few people including a table seated across from us asking for their money back as they had been waiting nearly 2 hours for their food. The waitress who was speaking to them came across as quite aggressive and rude. After hearing this I explained we were going to miss our event so we would need to cancel our meals.

The waitress who I spoke to was lovely and couldn’t apologise enough. They gave us our money back for the food we didn’t receive and just as we got the money back the food came out. She did say if we came back later on they would make it us fresh and apologised again.

I’m not sure whether they were having teething problems up in the kitchen and this was the problem but the staff member that dealt with us was lovely, it’s just a-shame we didn’t have a...

I was in Southport for my boyfriends birthday and we decided to celebrate with a nice meal and came to prezzos, we originally did not have a reservation so we politely came out of the restaurant and decided to book the next available time since it was a special occasion, as we arrived for our booking the waiter seemed annoyed with our presence and had told us our table was still full, again we didn’t mind since it seemed worth it, the waiter seemed to say something to the customers who were still sat at “our” table the said customers continued to stare at us and go out there way to look at us which made us extremely uncomfortable. Our table became free and we were sat down and everything was perfect so we ordered our drinks, starters and mains at the same time. We received our starter within approximately half hour and it was absolutely beautiful but it took over an hour for our main to come and when it finally did arrive our second round of drinks where still not at the table. When we asked the waiting on staff we was assured they were on there way, half way through my meal still no drink. No waiters came to check everything was okay or to see if we needed anything, we had to repeatedly ask for service as the staff were rushing past and uninterested. We finally got the attention of the staff and asked the waiter where our drinks were and so the waiter checked and informed us that the bar staff hadn’t even received our order. The food was beautiful and worth the money but we spend £90 to be left, made to feel uncomfortable and the service was not...

We arrived to our booking and found the resteraunt was very quiet for 7pm on a Saturday evening. We were greeted by a server who seemed uncoordinated and couldn't figure out where to seat us in an empty resteraunt, only for us to be seated near the main entrance adjacent to a window with a menu; meaning we would have passers by looking in at us which was very uncomfortable. We did ask if we could change tables, but the server said none of the tables were clean so we decided to remain in our seats. Once seated our server immediately asked for our drink order, giving us no real time to consult the menu, so I politely asked if we could have a few minutes with the drinks menu. Once we had our drinks order taken it took 10 minutes to receive them (a single glass of wine)... all whilst considering how empty the resteraunt was. We ordered food and it was good. We enjoyed our food very much and have no complaints in this regard. However, we were motivated to pay our bill as soon as we finished our meal and leave due to the uncomfortable atmosphere and generally poor service. We also noted that several people came in to the resteraunt, who didn't appear to have a booking, and were turned away. When I asked our server about this she said it is due to the lack of kitchen staff.

Overall, a generally poor service with a uncomfortable atmosphere however very good food. Price also was a bit steep for what we ordered. I probably won't be returning...
