EDIT FOR SEPT 2024 - GUESS WHAT! I thought I'd tempt fate and see how this place has "improved" 2 year on.
It's not.
The right food arrived (which is AMAZING given this place) - but that food included a spilt coke so the top 3rd was missing and two apple pies that had been burnt. Yes I did say BURNT to a cinder.
Just do yourself a favour and go to the one in Southport or somewhere else - in fact hell any other branch than this one.
AVOID! AVOID ! AVOID! FOR GOD SAKE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !
Don't EVER buy anything from this place. Ever since it opened, it has consistently (and I do mean consistently) failed to get orders right.
Today was a perfect example.
I went into McDonald's and used the in screen system to order a customised Burger. What we received was totally not what we ordered, so we went back in and pointed this out and were told they would change it. So we waited about another 10 minutes and were given a replacement.
That was also wrong.
How is it possible when the entire system is computerised and itemised as to the nature of the order that someone can get it wrong not once but TWICE!
There are only a few things you can order where you are in with a good chance of actually getting what you ordered (selects, a drink, fries etc) and that's because they are pretty hard to get wrong.
McDonald's head office really really really need to have some very strong words with this branch because they are systematically failing at everything they are doing.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went on a Saturday at about 6pm. One of the staff members asked a group of 3 teenagers to leave, saying that they needed the table. There were 4 available tables just in our section so I couldn't understand her urgency to get them out. They were not doing anything disruptive. They then asked for 5 more minutes to charge their phones. The staff member agreed and continued sweeping the floor, but only in the area of the teenagers as if she was trying to intimidate them. The teenagers then went outside but left their phones on the table to continue charging. There was still plenty of available seating. The staff member then went and asked the teenagers to move their bike and got heated saying if you don't move it I will move it. The staff member then went to get the manager and by time they returned the teenagers had left. I thought the ethos of McDonalds was that it is that welcoming place where you can charge your phone, find a seat, use the WiFi and bathrooms without feeling pressure. This is one of the reasons why teenagers like McDonalds. They don't have to spend a lot to be able to be welcome. This staff member obviously needs to be trained on the customer service aspect of her job. Ā Ā Ā Read moreSaturday 27th Jan 2024 1230 - 1330. I ordered food, seemed to be waiting a longer than usual time and noticed my order number was gone from the screen. I notified staff and shortly everybodys order came out. Not sure what the hold up was, but that is not the issue. I then checked my bag and had food missing, when again notifying staff of my missing items the only male member of staff said, āthat's what you get for complainingā. So taken back from the rudeness I actually swore. A couple points from this, one, what is he doing in a customer facing role with this attitude, two, I am allowed to notify staff my food has taken an unreasonable amount of time to be served, and three the fact this male staff member was trying to reprimand me for no reason. I have not named names as I do not even know if his real name is what he said it to be, but I notified management of this issue when it arose, who were professional and polite in dealing with my complaint and I am posting this as what I experienced today is completely unacceptable from...
