2nd visit to the Beerhouse. An unassuming place opposite a Home Bargain on a busy road in Maghull. But don't let that fool you. Arrived at 12 with family for a chilled afternoon of drinking. Mosaic on cask was absolutely belting and worth the visit alone. 4 Cask lines, 8-10 keg, and a fridge full of cans awaited us, plus, a fresh wood fired pizza company was the guest kitchen. Les and Julie have made the space welcoming and humble. Not to over the top, like some bars, plenty of space and a great music selection, which, as the place filled up,created a great atmosphere. Only 1 criticism, tho there were wines, spirits and some soft drinks, I think tea coffee and non alcoholic offerings would go down well....
