One Central Bar & Deli — Restaurant in Sefton

Went to this coffee shop today, ordered 2 coffees and paid via my Apple Pay. The young man behind the counter told me the payment had declined and to try again, which I did with no issue at-all. After a second time it had ‘declined’ so I checked my bank on my phone and seen that the payment had in fact came out of my account so I shown the lad and explained that the money has been taken out of my account to which he understood and was very understanding. However, an older lady also working there then overheard what was going on and decided to involve herself and accused me of not paying, so I once again got up my bank transactions and she could see clear as day it stated ‘£7.00 to central one bar’, so I explain the money has definitely came out of my account but she still continued to try and get me to make a payment again! Even after the young lad told her it had clearly came out of my account! She then rolled her eyes rudely and told me in a very rude manor to ‘grab my coffee then’ so I took my coffees over to my table and sat down, however she continued to stare over at me and my partner and was loudly talking about me to other staff members and made me feel extremely uncomfortable, so much so that my partner picked up on it and we decided to leave. went out last night with my wife for meal , but everywhere had stopped serving , as we walked through the square my wife was having a panic attack and in need of food , central one staff came out and invited us in, and calmed my wife and gave us 2 boxes of food to take home and they were absolutely amazing, they put my faith back into believing there is still nice people in the world, and the food was outstanding , and our 3rd taxi didnt turn up the owner gave us a lift home, such a nice calming place with great staff who couldnt do enough...

Went there today hot chocolate wasn't offered cream or marshmallows 😕 asked for black coffee staff asked do you want milk 😕 2 toasties tuna melt ok cheese and ham toasties very very thin hot cheese mountain of cold stone ham.
