I will start with if i could vote no stars i would !!!! Booked a table for 12 ppl. Unfortunately only 10 of the group could make the booking. So the staff decided to move 10 of us onto a table of 8 😕 leaving 2 of our party standing around the table for over 15minutes, to then tell us that they are waiting for another table to become free to sit our other 2 people. Making the customers at this table become uncomfortable as they were only half way through their meal. After a discussion on why we had been moved the staff then decided to move us back to the original table being abrupt & slamming tables together. Not very organised at all. You feel like you are putting the staff out by ordering a drink. Waited ages for warm not hot food, with hairs in. Missed naan bread & chips from the order. Didn't bother to complain as they had already ruined our night, just will never be visiting this place ever again. As this is the only Indian restaurant in Maghull you may be tempted to go as its convenient. If you are hungry want nice food & most of all a good service I would highly recommend to try a different...

I actually ordered a delivery from bay of Bombay as the one thing I've been craving since lockdown is an authentic curry. It was a sad week for me this week marking what would have been my son's 6th birthday without him. So tonight I got the children their choice of takeaway and treated myself. I received a call from this restaurant asking me to.collect my food. I said I requested delivery. With 3 children I.had no way of getting to them. I was told they aren't doing deliveries. I was told how to submit for a refund. I was a bit sad.

However then the manager said he would deliver. I was so thankful. He got lost as I live on a new estate but was really nice about everything

Must say not one to write reviews & La Qualia did used to be nice. However yesterday left us very disappointed. Quality of food was poor, it did not taste fresh, and the oil popadoms was cooked in was either 1. out of date or 2. over cooked - leaving a disgusting smell and taste, only to be stupidly replaced by the same ones once complained (like we wouldn’t notice). Then finally some fresh ones, when complained again! It felt like we were in the wrong when complained to staff over it, as he was a little argumentative. Sorry mate I know what a fresh poppadom should taste like and fresh food. We couldn’t be bothered complaining about the rest, as not in our nature. Tbh Would have been better getting a Indian from m n s better value for money and nicer! Wasted our money 100% won’t be...
