Seabreeze Fish Bar — Restaurant in Sefton

Ordered from here last night, two main meals & along with three side orders, all placed via the App.

Received confirmation of my order, delivery was slightly later than outlined but only by 10 minutes which was no issue as it was only ordered at 21:30.

The issue arose when the order was delivered, opened what I expected to see was Salt & Pepper Chicken only to be presented with Salt & Pepper chips.

I called the take-away to be told that all their drivers had left for the evening & there was nothing they could do as they were closing.

After being placed on hold for 5 minutes whilst they spoke to the owner, they arranged for one of their staff to drop it off on their way home from work.

It eventually arrived shortly after 23:00 after my partner had finished eating her meal.

Not a great advertisement, I will be reluctant to use this place again & will stick to Gui Garden who never make mistakes like this.

The sheer lack of ownership & accountability...

if i could put zero stars i would, foods nice but some staff are quite rude. i was spoken to with disrespect while placing an order, ignored it as it was a saturday and put it aside as stress. on entering the shop was served by the most lovely girl with glasses and what appeared to be a stone in her necklace and another middle aged women, both lovely. upon arriving home some food was missing from the bag so i rang up a second time to explain to then to be met with a more mature helpful member of staff. Also spoke with manager and it got sorted straight away. even though i had to make a second trip back to the shop was greated with a tattooed bundle of joy, who seemed to be having a good time with the other two lovely girls.

Very bad. Will never ever order from again. Got the order wrong the last time, while having a guest over .. Its just simply unacceptable. You would understand if someone would hear an order wrong but when it has been ordered via their own mobile app its just simply unacceptable how an order can go wrong. The other thing is they ask if I need to get it sent over again and of course I do that is why I ordered it delivered of course .. And even after a long time of waiting for them to rectify the order now they do not seem to be bothered about sending the actual order that was placed. Hence this lovely one star review they can ponder about .. Just never again. Thirty quid to waste. Use another chippy, any other in fact...
