I understand that we visited this place on Saturday daytime, so it was more busier than usual but The whole coffee shop was dirty. The floor, the windows, the tables, service table… Very crowded, noisy, full with kids with terrible behaviours, foot on the table, screaming etc. I only wanted to try out this place, people watching, chilling. Ordered 2 hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. The barista called me ā€˜boss’ -unprofessional-, over-shouted to other customers and the other barista, while taken my order. The 2 hot chocolate costed Ā£8. They had no cream (?! - in a coffee shop!) so the guy gave me back Ā£1 coin… so they don’t have proper hot chocolate, and the whole deduction was Ā£1. One hot chocolate was hot, the other one just above room temperature. The walls are full with very wise quotes about the coffee, the benefits, the metal health benefits etc. meanwhile they couldn’t make 2 simple drinks. The floor (carpet) was extremely dirty! Looked like no one cleaned up for weeks. I never send back food or drinks. Otherwise the reviews wouldn’t be ā€˜real’. I take everything as I get. I don’t recommend this place for anyone, who just wants to chill with a nice hot drinks after a long day/ night or week. The service was terrible.

Great coffee but a little on the expensive side in my opinion. Large Cappuccino was £4.30. It was very tasty though, and piping hot. The staff here are lovely, happy and smiley and extremely helpful. The place was clean enough, although the floors could have done with a hoovering. All in all, it was quite nice.

Great independent coffee shop. Extremely friendly staff and quick service! Really reasonably priced, shop local!

Genuinely read this before going there.

I went there wirh my friend, just the other day. First thing that greets you as you walk in is the filth. And I mean mcdonald-level of filth. Crumbs everywhere; on the floor, on the tables, the little black couches. The tables were visibly sticky and unwiped. On many chairs there were still wet patches of drinks.

But we reckoned it was just a one time thing. Shocker, it is not. There's always filth there.

Secondly, the service was lackluster: they were out of alternative milks for beverages, and there were still left over cups and drinks from previous customers next to our table. I don't mean to be overly critical or exaggerating, but there were hardly 4 people in that whole cafe, it really wouldn't have taken long to hoover or at least wipe the tables. They were STICKY. As in, physically, my cup stuck to the table.

Also, I had brought with me my own store bought brownies: I had just finished work and wanted a snack with my coffee. The waitress, when she brings our drinks, sees my brownies and proceeds to inform me that I am not allowed to eat MY own food that I bought, simply because they, quote on quote, "they already sell brownies here and don't want to discourage other customers".

Basically, this business' standards have fallen extremely low. I remember when this cafe was opened; everything was clean, orderly, and both the food and service was very good. However, over the past 3 years give or take, it has just... become dreadful to go there. The £10 I spent and wasted was a joke, and I'm...

Me and auntie often go to this coffee shop, however it's been now 5months since we didn't go because we had a terrible experience with this lady that works here with short black hair and she is middle aged. She needs to be fired, first when we entered the coffee shop she started looking at us and without hallo or anything the lady straight shouted and told me, you got a bag with a sandwich you can't eat this here you need to buy it from this coffee shop. I told her my aunty has her gluten free sandwich in here so she will have this and obviously I will get a sandwich from here as soon as we sat down in front of everyone she started shouting at us and saying you need to sit outside not here. She literally kicked us out in front of others and said to take the coffee that she prepared for us with us and drink it outside!?! For this reason, because of her I have not gone to this coffee shop for 5 months even though I go to strand every other day as I live so close to it, so the other day I had to go to this coffee shop again thinking she would be fired but no she was still standing there preforming her outstanding 1star customer service shouting at each and every customer like its a prison, as soon as I saw her, I came out back from the coffee shop and went straight to another coffee shop which is further down. Please...
