Visited this place based on numerous high-rated reviews. It’s a cafe located on Ecclesall Road, opposite M&S. I came at 3.30pm on Tuesday. It was fairly quiet when I arrived, which I didn’t mind. I loved the decorations displayed for Halloween. They really made an effort to celebrate spooky season! I eat halal and vegetarian/vegan food, no alcohol. I asked the lady if the food was vegetarian and alcohol-free. She said some of the options are vegetarian, others are vegan, but some aren’t vegetarian. So it’s probably best to ask beforehand or check the signs on each item. The lady was lovely, open and honest. I ordered two specials. A slice of Salted Caramel Cake and the Petrifying Spiced Pumpkin Latte. I asked for semi-skimmed milk, and one pump of pumpkin spice syrup rather than two, for less sugar. My food came fairly quick. The latte had a dash of cinnamon on top and lovely latte art. It was delicious and strong with pumpkin flavour. I was pleasantly surprised. The cake slice was alright. I tasted caramel but no salt. Still, the concept of the cake slice was very unique. Nothing like I had seen before. It had a layer of shortbread on the bottom, then a layer of chocolate sponge (I think), icing, caramel sponge, more icing, and a dollop of chocolate icing on the top. Truly a masterpiece! I’m a home baker myself, so I love these kinds of things :D I got a 10% student discount, and I was very happy paying less than £7 for everything. I had a brilliant experience at this coffee shop, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty cuppa and sweet/savoury treat.

I never write reviews but I felt on this occasion it was deserved. I came in today with my friend and was served by a lovely lady Emily. She was so kind to us and happy to help, so friendly and made us feel welcome. I ordered a flat white, cake and croissant which was all brought to my table and everything was delicious - Emily did this incredible latte art for me so I had to share it! I don’t often come here but I need to start going more as I’ve never had a bad experience and the cafe is always clean and a lovely working space for students. Thank you Emily you brightened my day 😁✨

Been several times to Copa. My favourite is a cappuccnio with the chocolate shavings on top. The Iced Mocha with chocolate bits was perfect for the heat wave week! Love the soothing decor and atmosphere as well as the staff, who are always upbeat and brighten my day. My friends even dropped in for a beer before one of the England games.

I'm a real fan of Copa Caffe. The coffee is great, and I like the atmosphere. I'm not sure why there's a picture of Hendrix on the wall, but it suits the vibe. I'm not a fan of the seasonal Halloween decor, but I can put up with it for a few weeks. The service is really personable and easy-going. It's definitely the sort of place that inspires loyal custom. Also, it works particularly well if you want to plug in a laptop and work somewhere other than at home or in the office! In which case, the 20% discount on a refill comes...
