Friesday Belgian Fries — Restaurant in Sheffield

terrible service this evening. I went in and ordered 2 large fries boxes - I stated what I wanted very clearly and said it twice just to be sure. But when I got my order, I was given regular boxes. When I questioned this, I was told by the lady (packing the orders) that I was only charged for 2 regulars. She could NOT care less. I saw her making a mistake with my order. I could see her preparing my order and whilst making my order she nervously called the guy who took my order to ask for help with something!!

Its not my fault that I was charged for the wrong item as I was clear when ordering. I knew what I was ordering as I literally came in 2 days ago and I ordered exactly the same items. The guy who took my order today said he "thought" I wanted regular boxes. When I said I wanted the regular boxes swapped for larges, the guy said "oh you have to pay extra and it will take time as there is a queue now". There was no attempt to put right what was a mistake on his part. The guy didnt listen to me when he was taking my order and then couldnt be bothered listening to me when I said I wanted the problem fixed. To top it all off - my fries were blow torched. I didnt ask for this and they didnt charge me for this service (this is on your menu as something you need to pay for). So, another mistake on your part! I tried today after a few weeks of reading reviews. Slightly underwhelmed of honest - it was just chips and cheese (with topping if you wanted) I had Tikka topping which was really not for me (even though I love spicy and chicken meals) . Tasty but not appealing, bitty chicken with not enough chicken tikkka flavour, if I am honest I wouldn't rush back but it is each to their own. So I’ll start by saying Friesday Belgian Fries is the perfect place to visit if you want some pre drink food. It’s just the perfect combo after having a beer or two. This place gets the full five stars from me mostly for the volume of food you get, £6 for such a large portion is nothing but great value for money. That doesn’t mean that you’re not getting some tasty food at the same time. As you would expect the chips are well cooked and well seasoned.
