Eve Kitchen — Restaurant in Sheffield

Went here on a Sunday for a coffee with a friend. Got there at quarter to 3 and were told by the lady that served us that we’d got there just in time as she was about to turn the coffee machine off. The sign on the door said they closed at 4. There’s no indoor seating or toilets available, spent £7.40 on 2 drinks and sat out on the seats out the front of the cafe. Hadn’t put a lid on my coffee because the lady had told us they weren’t very good. Put my drink down on the table, which turned out to be super wobbly, so my drink immediately fell over and spilt everywhere. Someone walking past kindly went inside and got me some napkins and the lady that served us came out to say she would have made me another drink but she’d just turned the coffee...

Best donut ever! Had the white chocolate and gingerbread donut post-parkrun, just before Christmas and haven’t stopped thinking about it since, so thought I had to write a review! Was perfect for an after parkrun sweet treat as is just around the corner from Endcliffe park. The donut was so so delicious and is such a cute shop, so aesthetically decorated and the staff were all so lovely and friendly. I went with my friend who has a nut allergy and they were so helpful, checking that none of the donuts contained nuts. Such a good selection of donuts too!! Almost too many for my indecisive self! Unless you know what you're looking for, it is quite easy to pass this cafe by, with its neutral, unassuming decor but it is definitely worth stopping for. The interior is pleasantly decorated, a no frills Scandinavian style with pine and eucalyptus boughs hanging on the ceiling. A display of their fresh doughnuts greets you on the counter. There is a good range of choice, as well as fresh coffees and a selection of teas in their signature red mugs. Prices are a little steep but worth it for the quality and atmosphere.
