Greek Blue Sky — Restaurant in Sheffield

When this opened fairly locally to us, we changed from a place at Crookes to this one, as we like to support our local businesses. To begin with it was good. Unfortunately, the quality and service have been declining in recent months. The last two times (the most recent being last night) have quite frankly been terrible. One hour and twenty five minutes after ordering our food, the delivery driver arrived and retrieved it from the back seat of his car (not from an insulated bag). All of the food was cold. We received no communication or apology for the delay. There were items missing and the meat was mostly fatty, just like last time. We asked for the salad to be kept in a separate container (food intolerance reasons), as they have done previously upon request. There was no salad present in the delivery, other than the few scraps in the bottom of the box under the food, where it had clearly been put in originally then removed. To spend over £30 for cold fat with a touch of meat, some soggy cold chips, and a bit of flatbread AND have to wait almost an hour and a half for it is not the way to keep customers. I can and have actually cooked better myself. This was simply meant to be our once a month take away treat and it left us disappointed again. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt after the last disappointment, but we won't be returning our custom. We'll be going back to our old faithful at Crookes. Is the 3rd time ordering from this store. The first 2 times food was great, time was also great and understandable. However, our 3rd time last night was the worst service, food and timing I would ever expect from a takeaway. I placed my order at 18:39pm and expected time at 19:34. When I was contacting the takeaway, the person on the phone was lying and giving me excuses that’s Saturday and are very busy and have table service. To my knowledge, I don’t care if that’s the case and with and order of £82.85 I would expect the food to arrive on time as it was given from the shop. After almost 6 calls, a lot of frustration and dis’s appointment, the food arrived at 21:03, 1.5 hours delay from time I was given from the restaurant and 2.5hours from when originally placed the order. Unacceptable and disappointing. Finally, when I received the food, the mixed grill for 4 people at £60 came like would have been served to the dogs. Lamb chops burned, pork skewers burned and all food was mixed as it was sent to animals and not people paying for their food. Never ever order again from this place which by the way is not a real...

Went last night and ate in, staff are lovely, place inside is gorgeous with beautiful murals on the walls and ceiling! We ordered the chefs special and the spicy cheese starter with some sour cherry drinks and it was honestly the best food we've eaten out in a long time! Was buzzing with custom and well worth the wait. Ideal placing too if you're off on a night out and want somewhere to eat first as its on the tram tracks and there's loads of pubs and microbrewerys near by. Will deffo return.
