Visited a couple of weeks ago with my wife. The customer service was somewhat underwhelming. Asked to be seated on the outdoor terrace. The waitress proceeded to lead separate a table from another customer and placed it right in front of the door. When we asked to move to a different table we got told quite bluntly that she was keeping them free because they were tables of 4 and they get busy. This is despite the fact most tables of 4 only had a 1 or 2 people on them. To make it worse immediately after that next customers who walk in a pair and then a gentleman on their own were all seated on tables of 4 away from the door way. Eventually another member of staff moved us one table on so we weren’t getting knocked by people coming through the doorway. For the prices they charge and ambience they are trying to portray the seriously need to consider some customer service training.

The food is off reasonable standard but seriously overpriced. The breakfast bagel is very small for the price (nearly £10) and standard white mushrooms aren’t ...

Lovely surroundings and it was nice and warm inside the conservatory part which I was glad of. My friend took me for a birthday treat we both ordered the same. Eggs Royale. His arrived a few minutes later and it looked beautiful but mine didn't come. I went over to ask about it and was told we'd only ordered 1. I think I heard an apology I ordered a quicker dish just a toasted teacake and told them when my friend paid that it was meant to have been a birthday treat. Another apology was produced but no discount on the bill. Very disappointed as the food looked lovely. I think they could have given me the toasted teacake for free as a gesture of goodwill but I guess I'll get over it. Won't be going back tho as they didn't try to please and customer service means nothing these days at some places. Here's a pic of what...

Average overpriced food, but I had returned due to its beautiful location. Recently, I paid £40 for brunch for 2, including tip. They charged my card twice. No problem, mistakes happen. I have been chasing this refund since 26th August. I have been passed from person to person and sent multiple emails and made multiple calls to try and get my money back. I have emaied them evidence of the transactions. Eventually, I get a response saying we'll transfer the money (still no apology for the error). Almost 4 weeks later, I still haven't received this money - so as it stands, I'm at £80 for a below average brunch for 2! I would say this is a new leader for the absolute worst customer service I have ever known. I won't ever return to any Jonis in the city again other than to collect my £40 as they are incapable of...

Absolutely flipping excellent. Finding a gem of a cafe is hard these days but boy did we strike gold here. Arriving before noon we were greeted with a short wait before taking a seat in the conservatory; considering it was a chilly day the area was warm and comfortable. Having not eaten prior we were torn with having breakfast or dinner; fortunately I was allowed to add crispy hash browns to my onion bhaji wrap and oh my was that a good idea. The staff all seemed to be envious of such a combination with the chef agreeing. Food and drinks arrived quickly considering the cafe was at capacity. All food was presented beautifully and garnish aplenty. Staff were friendly and present throughout our stay without pestering. We'll be back once the January diet has had its intended effect...

Beautiful setting inside the Botanical Gardens with a lovely outdoor terrace and an indoor restaurant space as well. We came for breakfast & sat outside with the doggie—which was a big plus! I had the granola and yogurt bowl—nicely presented and tasty. My friend had the creamy mushrooms on toast but wasn’t a fan of the strong mustard taste, so we swapped meals. Overall, the food was good, though coming from Portugal, I’m used to homemade granola so I did pause at the price—but it was fresh, generous, and enjoyable. Great vibe, great location, and a relaxed spot to start the day surrounded by greenery. Would return! 🙂
