Springvale Tavern — Restaurant in Sheffield

Now what makes the springvale so special? They have a decent selection of pints, reasonably priced. A personal house elf paid exclusively with lager. Overpriced pool. A jarring karaoke machine. So why the 5 stars I hear you ask? The Springvale is not merely a pub. It is a place where memories are made. A place where warriors become champions. A place where boys become men and where women owe their career in STEM. It’s hard to describe the Springvale as anything other than a principal school of faith and a place of sanctuary. Writing this I’m finding that my words are failing me. They can only get me so far. Thus, I leave you with this: To the blind, it is the light. To the hungry, it is bread. Came on a Saturday night for Kareoke and the DJ just didn't play a single song until we bought him a drink. I was with a big group of friends and none of us had a single song for about 2 hours. Rest of the staff were so lovely and friendly but the Kareoke DJ was a bit of a joke. Apparently they have different DJs every week so I'd definitely not recommend having this guy...

My first visit and what an excellent pub it is. It's managed by a very experienced and capable host, Callum. I'd say that this place is not only in safe hands, but that it will thrive under his tenure - particularly with its new decor and wonderful beer garden (an understatement actually).
