Went here as a couple on Saturday night . The place is only small but this is nice Really enjoyed the food it was lovely We had a table in the corner I had prawns for my starter , salmon for my mains and Chocolate pudding for my dessert. The only thing that was a down side was the service was too fast we would have been out in a hour if we hadn’t asked for some time . No sooner had my starter plate been taken away than my main course had arrived . We recently visited and was again left impressed.

I tried the salmon and my wife had the Mushroom & Brie Wellington and both were cooked perfectly. The Salmon was juicy and lightly crisp and the Wellington was creamy with perfect golden brown pastry. We also couldn't help noticing how amazing the homemade pies looked that were being served to other tables!

The Oak House hits every note of what you'd want from a dining experience - tidy decor, super friendly service, good value but above all fresh, vibrant 'proper' cooked food. This is based on my last 3 visits where the quality of the dishes has been high.

Recently visited her for our anniversary meal. The atmosphere was amazing, it was cozy yet chilled and the food was outstanding. We had 2 courses and both were impeccably presented and cooked. They were bursting with flavour. Everything was cooked to perfection and I can honestly say the calamari was the best I'd ever had. It was soft and melted in the mouth. My husband had the oak house burger and commented it was the best tasting burger he had, had. The duck was mouthwatering and bursting with flavour and the pork loin bites were exceptional.
