First venture out following lockdown The obvious attraction of wetherspoons pubs is the cheapness of their drinks, although I can't detect any difference in the quality of the drinks on offer Unfortunately these prices may attract the less desirable clientel and we were greeted by a group of feral youngsters outside the premises, who had apparently been kicked out of the pub because of some inebriated confrontation with an older customer. We had to wait outside until a table became available and listen whilst one particular aggressive yoik harrangued a member of staff, who we later established was Josh the manager. Although I found the situation uncomfortable and threatening, I am full of admiration in the way Josh calmly and patiently tried to defuse the situation and send the group on their way, much to the relief of the other...

So decided to get breakfast with my partner and literally have scrambled eggs and toast with a cheese and egg muffin partner had scrambled eggs and toast with a breakfast wrap when the guy turned up outta back to serve I was waiting around what sempt 3-5min so he comes with his mouth full of food chewing away everyone's gotta eat I get that but not when your trying to serve customers the food came toast was burnt egg's had broken bits of shell still in and the egg on the muffin tastes really dodgy so ended up leaving that since leaving both my partner and me have had really bad burning acid and nearly Sick don't think I'll be going back anytime soon too bad as the time before this...

Fairly good breakfast here - the morning drinkers are somewhat off putting however. If you're not bothered by that, they do a good cheap one.

Avoid the chicken for dinner / tea. It's terrible. Even the chef says the same thing. It's WELL overcooked and dried out like am old shoe so just don't.

Other than that, Its a good price for what you get and the staff are really good here. Beer is an excellent price if you're just looking for a drink and are gonna make your own atmosphere. There is no romance or comfort here though so avoid if you're looking for a place that looks or feels good as there's a fair few people who are just swaying, nursing a pint on their own or with...
