Five Lads — Restaurant in Slough

The best grilled and peri peri chicken restaurant in the town, there food is always fresh and rich with flavour, I've been there 3 times, once with my cousin, once with my wife and daughter (they had child seat for my child which is extra credit), and once with my friends from Abu Dhabi who were here for a visit, everytime I visited the restaurant the food was on point, chicken is fresh, chips is freshly cooked, rice is tasty, also the staff are very polite and they cook with passion/tasty intentions where they put proper sauce on the chicken, and good portions of chips they make sure your happy with what you pay for unlike some other restaurants where you feel the employee is counting how many chips they putting in your portion lol (with all due respect), I always go for the platters, good quantity, fantastic quality, and you can't beat there flavours, I recommend to try the mix flavour of lemon & herb with medium together on the chicken, it gives that lemony flavour with a kick of spicy, highly recommended if your looking for grilled or peri peri chicken, they literally beat Nandos (with all due respect) worth the try, worth every penny, I've always dined it, I've never ordered take away so my review is based on dine in experience, highly...

Thought this place would be a good edition to the strip of restaurants on Farnham Rd, however, I was wrong! The chicken & beef burger was a complete let down, literally lacked any flavour & the chicken & beef loaded fries were just embarrassing. The beef loaded fries was the same minced beef in the burger, just roughly crumbled on top of the chips with some cheap cheese. The chicken loaded fries was the cheapest & most fake chicken you will eat, so if you want quality, this place is not the one. Parking is terrible & definitely not worth a visit. Spending over £30, & leaving feeling like a Tesco meal deal would’ve been better, says it all! Not...

Food is always on point, portion size is great. I'd always recommend the Loaded Box for a bit of everything. Strips/Wings, Burger/Wrap, Salad/Fries.. its all there. :)

Service is good they are not overly busy during the day so its fairly easy to get a table. The guys are quick with getting things prepped and cooked on time.

Parking on-site is available but its shared and can get full up quick. It does depend on the time of day, its Farnham road so its what you can expect. Would be best to park elsewhere...
