NYWines Shop & Wine Bar – A Cozy Spot for Wine and More

Dropped in for a drink and really enjoyed the atmosphere. It’s a lovely little bar with a wide variety of wines, as well as a great selection of gin. The wine we tried was very good.

Service was a bit on the slow side, but everyone was friendly and welcoming. It's also a wine and gin shop, so you can buy bottles to take home — a nice bonus.

My husband and I have recently moved to Shelford and thought we’d try the wine bar one Friday evening. I stupidly booked the wrong week but when I rang up to ask if it could be changed, the gentleman on the phone was really accommodating and managed to fit us in that evening. We were made to feel so welcome immediately on arrival and the service was great throughout the evening. We had a lovely bottle of rose to drink and two boards of cheese and charcuterie (for one) to eat. It was truly excellent and we can’t wait to come back! 100% recommend this fantastic...

Popped in for a drink- not made particularly welcome. Was offered a table to sit at, but a reserved sign was promptly put on the table. We asked about food, but was told it wouldn’t be available until after 6pm, but the table was required at 6.30pm. (It was 5.15pm when we sat down). We had two drinks each and olives and bread.
