Lovely, compact park with all that's needed for a restful (or energetic) time. Large grassed open areas, trees, child's play area, tennis, basketball courts, table tennis, five-a-side. Planted borders, bandstand. Also, well maintained, with little evidence of vandalism. A little gem!

A nice park which is access friendly to both non and disabled persons. Located in Church Gresley near Swadlincote on Common Road. Well kept pathways, gardens, tennis courts, basket court, football pitch, and children play area. Car parking located on main roads surrounding the park.

Amazing park/grounds. I'm not originally from this area, but I love taking my son there. He can run for days. There's so much to do. It's very well kept. And we love the performances etc that go on in the Pavillion in the summer months

Love this green area, plenty to do for kids if they can entertain themself's, play parks, football pitches, tennis courts, basket ball court. Tennis courts are free just £1 refundable deposit for rackets and balls or take your own There's bowls greens and work out equipment spaced around the park. The park is kept lovely by the staff there daily that empty bins, pick litter up tend to the plants and cut the grass, loads of be benches to sit and enjoy people watching or just contemplating. Real gem of a place! There's a few cafes on the streets surrounding the park so you can grab a coffee and a bit to eat...

This is my local park and is a very good size as it contains two football pitches, tennis courts, basketball court, table tennis tables, bowling green, play area and a bandstand. There's also toilet facilities. There is so much to do here from young to old with many events being arranged throughout the year. It's also a good place to help you keep active and fit as there are many activity benches around the 1km circumference of the park, so it's also a good place to jog, walk...

It's a beautiful park that is maintained to a very high standard, with lots of things to do for all ages. There is a local Tesco which is well stocked with drinks and ice-cream for those warm summer afternoons. There is even a bandstand amongst other things, and the odd event that occurs. All in all it's a beautiful village park, and the council...
