Visited very early on a Saturday on December (just finished for the Christmas holidays) Got a table easily, and ordered our food and drinks without having to queue. Drinks (a pot of tea and an americano) were served within a couple of minutes (coffee was nice and hot, teapot didn't dribble, plenty of milk served with both), and the food arrived a few minutes after that. Both of us had ordered the wide beam breakfast (to set us up for the day) and it was perfection! 2 butchers style sausages (deliciously herbed), 2 generous rashers of bacon, 2 eggs (fried, but not crispy on the edges), 2 incredibly crispy hash browns, a slice of black pudding, baked beans, some of the best mushrooms I've had in ages and a pot of chopped tomatoes. Plus 2 slices of toast each, with plenty of pats of butter. I was asked what kind of bread I wanted for the toast, and the menu says that you can specify how you want your eggs (fried, poached or scrambled) but I didn't ask for them to be changed. Managed to eat all but the last 2 pieces of toast, and that was only because I didn't want to have to waddle back to the car! This is going to be my new end-of-term treat (teacher in a...

Update May 2025 Tried the new premises but sadly not as nice as the old premises , the view of the water is obscured , parking is cramped near the cafe and no disabled bays as far as I could see . The owners of Marina have demolished perfectly good toilets and original buildings probably to build more holiday keys to make more £££ the root of all evil and it’s just so busy there even midweek at both cafes that I don’t think I’ll be going again . I like the Marina but since the demolition it’s so cramped up into much smaller spaces it’s too stressful trying to park especially if you can’t walk too far

today I found not one but TWO HAIRS imbedded in my food So please be cautious when eating there They were medium to long light fair hairs:( Made me feel quite sick As almost ate them ...🤢 I was given a refund but that’s all not even a sorry 😐 still think it should be on here as they get extremely busy and could be getting a bit slipshod ! Time to get those...

Only went for a coffee with a friend. Not been for at least two years. Service (what I would consider basics) has gone downhill. We chose a table that hadn't (yet???) been wiped clean. So when I was at the till to put our order in I asked if it could be cleaned. In the meantime I noticed that the table next to ours was being cleared and we moved to that one as it was more convenient to sit at. However, cleared, yes - wiped clean, no. Then the 'waitress' wiped the first table clean, but not the one we'd chosen to sit at that she'd just cleared and we were next to. Incomprehensible!!! So I decided again to go to the counter and ask for it to be cleaned too. This was kind of done - not thoroughly as there was still sauce stuck to the table. Can only imagine that said cloth is used all day long too... as it was kept somewhere next to the cakes...

Visited here this week, after many previous visits. The staff are lovely as usual, always accommodating & will chat to you, when they can, as this place is always busy, definitely popular with the locals. On this visit I went for the cookie n cream milkshake, first time having one but was definitely nice. The wife went for a strawberry milkshake & she also thought the same about hers. For food I had the cheese & ham quiche, with chips & salad, Ive had a few quiches from here both cold & hot, & they are always packed with tasty ingredients. My wife had a salmon salad, but unfortunately the salad was dirty, we didn’t get chance to inform the staff, due to being busy with our daughter & family. One improvement would be for some sort of air conditioning, or fans, as in this current weather its very stuffy/hot for both customers & staff.

First time visiting here, and we weren't disappointed, it is very popular and we wondered if we would get a seat, but luckily there were 4 tables available. Greeted nicely by the staff and got our menu's. Very nice range of food to choose from from light bites to bigger meals. We went for quiche salad and chips and eggs benedict, and a pot of tea. Very fast service and we were pleasantly surprised.see pics. Will definitely be back. The prices are very reasonable too. See pics of menu.
