Tsang's Restaurant — Restaurant in South Hams

Dreadful experience. This was the only chinese restaurant in Dartmouth and we were bitterly disappointed. First of all the place is awful inside and out, you would think that the owners would have taken advantage of the lockdown closure to clean and paint the place. Just look at the outside and that reflects the food inside. A very basic order of bbq spare ribs, fried rice and King prawn egg fu yung was a disaster. After waiting half an hour outside the shop (only one person allowed inside) and watching later orders be collected it turns out that they forgot to tell me it was ready. Obviously when i got home it was all near cold. The ribs were tough as old boots and the sauce definitely not bbq, instead it was a watery tasteless pink gloop. The egg fried rice was burnt brown and no egg in it! The best I can say about the king prawn egg fu yung was that the peas were OK. Never will I ever set foot in this place again! After a nice night out to be met with this women at the counter insisting I say please after every order. Then realising she had upset me saying where do you think I’m from then saying Germany about rounded it up! So bloody rude I know English! I have lived here all my 45 years. My partner who is S African was lost for words and so was I. One star is way to much. Learn English and if you don’t like it don’t work dealing with English People! Clearly she was on some ego trip!
