Bentleys Bar & Grill — Restaurant in South Holland

Went here for a Christmas party to have a 3 course meal , Pate as a starter , Lamb Shank main and chocolate brownie for desert. Well the pate itself was nice however the bread it came with wouldn't look out of place in a miniature dolls house, the Shank was nice and so was the gravy but i was disappointed that it didn't come with mash potato instead it was serviced in carvery style minus the mash! The brownie was the most disappointing, again it wouldn't look out of place in a dolls house with the portion size, best described as a lukewarm chocolate moose than chocolate brownie. I wouldn't of minded but this was a £30 3 course meal, disappointing to say the least when you leave feeling the urge to call in at Ronald Mcdonalds on the way home. Forced to remove my jacket in the evening and hang it up before entering Well seems to depend on who you are from what I see if you leave your jacket in the cloakroom it’s unsupervised and people will steal your jacket According to the staff it’s a known problem but nothing is done about it I was just told not to have an expensive jacket what a attitude If you try and contact the manager via email they can’t even be bothered to reply what a joke of a place Obviously the manager likes to hide behind there computer Next time I’m in Spalding I’ll go physically in there and see the manager no doubt they’ll be conveniently not working that day I’ve been going to Bentleys ever since it opened and il never return now...

I have just held a small party with friends to help celebrate my 70th birthday. I wanted a buffet and birthday cake. The buffet was fantastic, a lovely choice of food, beautifully prepared and arranged. The birthday cakes were lovely. Everyone really enjoyed all the food and there was more than enough to eat. I was even able to order food for a friend who has a gluten free diet. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I would like to thank them all for making it all a very enjoyable...
