Prezzo Italian Restaurant Spalding — Restaurant in South Holland

Booked online for tuesday 28th - 8pm - 4 Adults and a baby.. once arrived they were very un-prepared and knew nothing about the booking. One waitress apologiesed and found us a table.. When it came to ordering we seemed to have a very rude waitress, who was very rude when taking the order as if she was in a bad mood and taking it out on the customers. One of the dishes we ordered.. The ceaser salad.. once it arrived it was literally just baby lettuce nothing else.. no crutons.. no cheese.. no Cucumber.. no side dressing as it says in the menu.. but who charges £9.95 for literally a small bowl of baby lettuce! My brothers wife got up to complain and ask where the rest of the dish was to the very rude waitress to respond "thats how the caeser salad comes". It was supposed to be an enjoyable night, having my brother and his wife come down from the lake district to see me.. We will never come back to this restaurant as it was literally a shambles.. had to ask twice for the bill as the first time we asked the lady that looked to be in charge said she would get it.. 20 minutes later still waiting and had to ask another waitress.. who was constantly apologising to all the customers in...

UPDATE went for lunch on Wednesday 6 August 2025 What a shock Almost blown away by the Air Conditioning and had to change tables Menu was much reduced with only a few dishes l eventually chose a burger with cheese and a side of fries my wife chose a burger also with a side salad the portion of fries was small the salad was smothered in balsamic vinegarn ( probably to hide its tired look.) my burger was extremely dry and tastles ,- due to being overcooked my wifes burger had chillies in it (not mentioned on the menu) my small beer was overpriced at £7:40 the wine was pricy for a small glass at £7:00 coffee was the best part of the meal l was going to take friends this coming week but l have a different venue booked now The staff were pleasant and helpful but it is not enough to carry off the whole experience l will not be going back.there after almost 10 years of patronage

Visited with my elderly mother on Thursday 6 March 2025. Car park opposite. Warm welcome from friendly, professional staff. Lovely atmosphere. Outstanding food. I would definitely recommend. Update Saturday 24 May 2025. We visited again at 5pm on a Saturday evening. We ordered a Caesars salad and a Tuscan barbecue pizza as main courses, followed by a chocolate fudge cake and Sicilian lemon meringue pie. The service was quick, without being too quick and the young ladies serving were absolutely lovely. All of them. A credit to themselves and to Prezzo. The food was outstanding. We would still definitely recommend. Update of 25 July 2025. We visited again on Friday 25 July 2025 and ordered two salads, a chicken Caesar salad and a chicken, bacon and avocado salad, with a side order of carbonara fries. Absolutely delicious!!!
